I’m Chris, a teacher here at the Hangzhou ACT and Cambridge Center. I graduated in 2010 from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a double major in International Affairs and Political Science. I have been living and teaching in China for four and a half years and I teach a wide variety of subjects, including: Western Cultures, Global Perspectives, AP Economics, AP US History, Business Studies, and Communication skills. I have a strong passion for imparting the knowledge and skills I have gained during my own experiences academically and professionally to improve my students’ abilities to understand complex issues, analyse them from different perspectives, and use those abilities to promote their own successes, not just academically, but personally and professionally as well. In addition to promoting success in these categories, it is my hope to inspire a genuine thirst for knowledge to benefit them for the rest of their lives.
