通常我们在开始听之前，读题的时候，就会划出句子里的关键词，同时预判一下31空的词性。划关键词绝对是个技术活，老师们往往建议我们优先考虑划名词，那在这个句子里，有两个名词erosion和soil，它们两个谁又会更重要呢?别急，先让我们来识别一下这个题的特点，这个题的31空在is的后面，再往前是名词soil + that，这其实就是一个典型的定语从句，看到语法就犯晕的小伙伴们也别着急，说白了，也就是that后面的内容，全都是用来修饰它前面的那个名词，所以，我们能够确定31空，应该是个形容词，而且如果我们需要快速精准地听到31空这个形容词，肯定是用that前面的那个名词来定位的。那么我们来看看原文究竟是个什么样子的：

我们通过定位词soil和词性的预判，能够确定答案就是句子中的形容词dry。

定语从句的结构是 n. + that/which + 从句，这个被修饰的名词往往紧挨着后面的that/which，但是有的时候，它们就没有挨得那么紧，而是在中间插入一些修饰成分，这就需要我们能够把这个真正被修饰的名词找到，并在听题时，非常清楚地以这个名词来定位。在听原文时，帮助定位的名词出现后，也可能会跟着一些其他的成分，但是我们确定要找的是个形容词，这样就不会错过啦。

如果我们识别出了这也是个定语从句的结构，就不难确定从句所修饰的名词是soil，我们以这个名词来定位，然后找出32空的形容词。

在听题时，soil这个句子的末尾出现的形容词hard就是答案词。

Well, I would like to tell you about a pair of ripped jeans that are my favorite item among all the things I have in my wardrobe.
